The underpinning framework for the leadership structures of the school are unashamedly based on the concept of Servant Leadership where service comes before leadership.

Apart from a select number of leadership portfolios which must be filled by the aspirant matrics, well over 200 formal leadership positions must be filled in the school. These include representative positions on the School Council, membership of House Committees, Captains and vice captains of sport teams and responsibilities in tutor groups and the Debutante programme.

Leadership training is given to all pupils of the school in the belief that every person at one point or another will be or is a leader. This training may be formal, or as part of the schools co-curricular programme.
